Have you ever looked at your picture to see a stranger in the
background, it makes you wonder how many strangers have you in their
backgrounds. How many lives have you been in without even knowing it? Where you
there when they clinched success? Or did you give up on them because you
thought they were taking too long to meet up.
How many people gave up on you because you
couldn't meet up
to their expectations? How does it feel standing dejected on the lonely route
to success, after all those you trusted bade you bye, and left you without a
guide.
What happens to the race, when you realize that there wouldn't be anyone to cheer you to the finish
line, because none of them believe you could make it? Did you doubt your
strength and flirt with your weakness by leaving the track.
Most times, life offers us a wonderful Party, too many to
eat, a lot to drink, a solemn jazz band. But often times we arrive only to realize
that there would be no one to share those blissful moments with us.
A lot of persons have struggled to make it in life, probably
to make a mum or dad proud, but often times these moms or dads don't live to
witness this blissful success.
Some men hustle to make money just to have a lady, but these
ladies invite them to their wedding, few days before the man wins a contract
that would change his life.
There is never a time you would get all you want. But which
is better, getting all you want, only to realize that it isn't enough, or not
getting all at all?
Life is a bed of roses that is laid on a garden of thorns.
Whichever way, you are either pierced or caressed, but none of both lasts all
the time.
I have looked at most of my pictures and often times I see
people in the background, some of them I know, some I don't. And I have
concluded that in same way, a lot of persons are in the background of my life,
some of them I know, some I don't. But in various ways they have contributed to
what I am today.
You would realize how many friends you have the day you
celebrate your success, but you distinguish fake from real friends the day you
mourn your failure.
Never give up because people aren't there to support you.
Just like your pictures there are people in the background.
